Staffordshire Community Equipment Service (Medequip)
Free loan of daily living equipment — walking frames, grab rails, bath seats, raised toilet seats, and more — following an occupational therapy assessment. Covers all of Staffordshire.
Run by Medequip on behalf of the NHS and Staffordshire County Council. Access is through an OT assessment — contact Staffordshire Cares (0300 111 8010) to start the process. Equipment is loaned free of charge and maintained/collected when no longer needed. This is how you get things like walking frames, perching stools, and bathroom equipment on the NHS.
